Spinning<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The top modality is undoubtedly Spinning<\/strong> fishing, with more than 10 thousand total catches<\/strong> by users. This can be done in both fresh and salt water and is based on the movement made with the rod to fool prey<\/strong> and on the use of artificial lures. That is why it unleashes so much passion among anglers, thanks to its dynamism and to the ability it requires to imitate the movements of the fish and so achieve the catch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The species that are usually caught with this type of fishing are atlantic horse mackerel, seabass, greater amberjack<\/strong>, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The necessary equipment will vary depending on the type of Spinning, light or light heavy, but as a general rule we can follow the following recommendations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. The rod must be made of a lightweight material (carbon for example) and flexible to adapt it to movement, and a powerful range of action is also required. These rods have the rings down, for which we will use a fixed spool reel (spinning reel) and of a lightweight material.<\/li>
  2. In relation to lures, the ideal is to carry a small assortment of them, highlighting topwater ones, poppers or walkers among others. And the line should be strong but also flexible to avoid tearing, it is highly recommended twisted line.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Another one of the favorite within fishing techniques is Casting<\/strong>, a modality that has 7500 catches in WeFish<\/strong>. This technique is calmer but in turn requires the full attention of our anglers. Among its strong points stand out casting precision<\/strong> and great smoothness, although of course, these will be achieved with practice and experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    There are many species that can be fished with this modality, with black bass<\/strong> or pike<\/strong> being very common.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    As for the material, the rods, unlike the spinning ones, have the rings up and are also smaller, which provides greater sensitivity. Casting reels are used for these.
    Heavy or resistance lures, such as spinnerbaits<\/strong>, are recommended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Eging<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The third place is held by Eging<\/strong> fishing, or lured fishing, which is one of the most used to catch cephalopods. This modality from Japan is becoming popular and could replace spinning, the old technique that was used when fishing for cephalopods<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    It is a fun and dynamic technique<\/strong> in which zigzag movements are used to catch one of the most abundant species in the world: squid<\/strong> (in addition to other cephalopods). It can be practiced both on the coast and on a boat, preferably in the deepest areas, such as rock bottoms and seaweeds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    As for the material we recommend very light and flexible rods<\/strong> since it will be fast movements. Light and not very powerful reels, similar to those of Spinning. The lures that are used are the famous egis or squid jigs<\/strong>, which if we choose them in bright colors will attract more our prey. Finally, the most recommended line is braided thread.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Rockfishing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    With a number of catches very similar to eging, and imported from the same country, we find the Rockfishing<\/strong> technique. It is used to capture small prey in rocky areas<\/strong> as its name suggests, whether it is mouths, cliffs, breakwaters\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Attention is essential for this ultra light style of fishing that can allow us to catch a wide variety of species, such as bass<\/strong>, trout<\/strong> or carps<\/strong> if we are talking about fresh water. Atlantic Mackerels<\/strong>, sardines<\/strong> or breams<\/strong> in case of saltwater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The equipment should be very light, be it a light spinning equipment or a specific one for rockfishing<\/strong>. It must also be resistant considering that it will be in contact with the rocks. The rod should be fine (spinning or surfcasting come in handy). As the thread is usually used twisted line.     Lastly, but with great popularity if we talk about saltwater, we have Surfcasting<\/strong> fishing. This type of fishing literally means ‘cast on the waves’<\/strong>, that is, it is done on the coast, from the shore of the beach and in sandbanks. Although thanks to the environment it is considered a type of relaxing fishing, it can also be hard and exhausting due to the great physical effort it requires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The weather conditions must be taken into account before casting the rod into the sea, it will be preferable that the wind is light, so fishing is complicated in windier areas such as northern Spain. It is also in our interest that there are marine currents.
    The most common species that are caught with this modality are seabass, bream or gilthead seabream,<\/strong> the last one usually takes longer to bite the hook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    As for the equipment, we must use two equal rods (long if possible), and although there is a great variety of sizes and materials, the typical ones are those with three pluggable sections. In addition we will have to use two equal reels that have a large roll preferably, since surfcasting<\/strong> casts are long distance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We also need a robust but flexible line, leads and live baits<\/strong>, like typical earthworms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
