WeFish User Guide
Promoting healthy and sustainable practices for sport fishing is an obligation of all and a commitment that we must acquire.
Good Practices
A good catch will always keep the following points in mind when sharing it:
Show only one catch in each photo
This makes it easier to correctly manipulate the catch.
Photo taken in natural environment
Photos taken near the place of catch to return it to the water.
Maximum respect for the animal
Correct handling increases the survival of the animal.
Practice sustainable fishing
Releasing the fish alive favors the biodiversity of the area.
Correct and complete information
Indicate the weight of the catch and show the lure / bait used.
We all like to know the story!
A brief introduction of how the catch was.
Bad Practices
The catches that respond to any of the following points will be eliminated:
Show many catches per photo
Photos of catches with quotas that exceed logical limits.
Photo taken in unnatural environments
Photos in kitchens, garages, in urban environments.
Duplicate catches
The same catch cannot be uploaded multiple times.
Catch mistreatment
Avoiding bumps and frictions allows the survival of the catch.
Intentional misinformation
For example, calling a bass a shark.
Blurry photos
Photos that do not allow to identify the species.
At WeFish we promote sustainable fishing and catch and release, as well as the record of quality catches, where the catch is seen in a natural environment and treated with the respect it deserves.
All catches that do not meet the quality requirements will be removed from the public notice board. To do this, we ask for the help of the community through the following actions:
Give a 'dislike' to the catch
Catches that accumulate many negative ratings will be automatically hidden.
Report the catch to Administration
Select the "Report" option and indicate in the comments what is happening in that image.
